My mouth will tell of your righteous acts, of your deeds of salvation all the day, for their number is past my knowledge. With the mighty deeds of the Lord God I will come; I will remind them of your righteousness, yours alone. O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds. So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come. Psalms 71:15-18
To me Sabbath is a HOLY day, my favourite day, a gift, a treasure, a seal, communion, rest. At Waitac, I made friends for eternity, learnt and grown a lot. I have a family, support, opportunities and love. Waitac is true to bible teachings.
It was through watching Firstlight that I learned about the Sabbath Truth. I heard that you should work for six days and on the seventh day you rest. That bothered for me a long time. Coming to the realisation that Saturday is the Sabbath. We want to do what is right and we want to do what pleases God. We attend Waitac Church, such a welcoming Church.
We need to pray that God will give us a clean heart. If our heart is right, it will be easy to do what’s right. It will be easy to be obedient. We can ask God to help us, to love him, to take our lives, to take our hearts and to help us to be obedient, because we love Him.
You got to walk with Jesus day by day. First thing in the morning as you wake up, call on the Lord, because Jesus saves. Jesus saves. He will keep us on the right path. Jesus is our saviour. Jesus is our redeemer. Jesus has a crown to them who believes in Him, an Eternal Life.
Of all the things that Jesus said and claimed, what we know is that his disciples were certainly convinced about something very radical enough to be willing to die for and of all the writings that they have compiled the one stand out testimony that they all bear and were willing to die, to defend, is the fact that they literally witnessed Jesus’ resurrection from the dead. They saw him and spoke to him and touched him, and testify that indeed he had risen from the dead. Now of all the things that matter, this is the most important because their assurance is that if this man can really rise from the dead then putting my trust in him and hope in him for him to raise me from the dead seems worthwhile. At least it’s worth more than anything else worthy of believing.
It was a great appointment for me to be with Waitac Church. I came to New Zealand not knowing where I’d go. I learned later that Waitac Church has been praying for someone who can serve with them. I am very happy that God can continue to use me. It is such a great joy to be God’s blessing to everyone.
I know for a fact that God is working in this world. Coz each and everyday people’s hearts are being changed. That is the measure of God’s love. If you hear the word of God, harden not your hearts. God’s love is unconditional. And their is nothing that we can give God, because everything belongs to him. But what He wants is us, He wants our hearts. That’s all He wants, and once you’ve given your hearts to God, He will do the rest. That is the promise from God.
